My resource hasn't downloaded. What should I do?
We understand the frustration of not being able to download a resource you need – we’ve been there too. There are two ways of downloading resources from Teach It Forward:
- The quickest way is to click the download link on the checkout page.
- You will also receive a download link in your email confirmation.
If neither of these work, please check the internet browser you are using is up to date.
Failing that, email details of your issue to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please ensure you include the title of the resource so we can sort it out as soon as possible. If it is a fault on our side, we will even offer you a choice of a free resource for your troubles!
Why can't I open a resource file?
There are a number of reasons a resource file might not open:
Your download hasn’t completed
The amount of time it takes for a resource to download depends on the size of the file and the speed of your internet connection. Some of our resource files are quite large, so please be patient. We hope it’s worth the wait!
Your computer doesn’t have the correct software installed
You need to ensure that your computer has the correct software for the file you are attempting to open. Most Teach It Forward resources are in one of two formats, either Microsoft Word (docx) or Microsoft PowerPoint (pptx).
Before contacting us, please check your computer software is functioning correctly and up-to-date. If in doubt, try opening other similar files. For example, you could try to open our Continent matching activity which is free to download in both file formats.
If you are still having problems, email details of your issue to us at email@example.com. Please ensure you include the title of the resource so we can sort it out promptly.
We are always grateful when customers bring issues to our attention. Therefore, if it’s a fault on our side, we will gladly offer you a choice of a free resource as compensation for your inconvenience.
